Crowds of people rushed to rescue a 14-year-old boy from falling into a well, suddenly the well collapsed and 40 people fell into a 20 feet deep well.

Rescue operations are underway to rescue people trapped in a well in Lal Pathar village in Ganjabasoda in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh. People rushed to the rescue of the children who had fallen into the well. It is believed that a total of 30 people fell into the well. So far 19 people have been evacuated and four have died. The rescue operation is currently underway.



A major accident took place late Thursday evening in Vidisha's Lal Plateau village. At six o'clock in the evening a child fell into a well. So many people had gathered to get the baby out that the well had collapsed. This caused more than 20 people to fall into the well. So far 19 people have been evacuated by the NDRF, SDRF and local administration team. Many are still missing and four bodies have been exhumed.



A 14-year-old boy fell into a well at 6:00 pm in a village in Ganjbasoda. The 30-foot-deep well contained 10 to 15 feet of water. After the baby fell inside, crowds of people rushed to the well to rescue him. Made a slab of cement on the well. All the people climbed this slab on the well. But the weight of the people could not bear this slab and suddenly this slab was broken. As soon as the slab broke, more than 20 people fell into the well. As soon as the information of the incident was received, all the officials of the administration rushed to the spot. Relief work was started by JCB and Poklen machines.



Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan was present at the wedding of his adopted daughters in Vidisha. After the accident, Chief Minister Shivraj made the wedding venue the control room. From there, he appointed IG, Commissioner, Collector while keeping an eye on the whole matter. All the officers including the SP were sent there. At the suggestion of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Vidisha district minister in charge Vishwas Sarang left Bhopal and reached the spot and is currently supervising the relief and rescue operation. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ordered a high-level inquiry into the accident.
