An BRTS bus collided head-on with a driver near Pallav Char Rasta on Ahmedabad's 132-foot ring road early this morning. The deceased was working as a print distributor and had an accident while returning home this morning. Crowds gathered following the incident, so that the bus-driver panicked and climbed on top of the bus. People chanted slogans like Hi Hi BRTS etc. for action against the bus-driver. According to CCTV footage near the BRTS bus stand, the Activa driver was crossing the road when he did not see the bus coming and collided with the bus, according to Deputy Municipal Commissioner Vishal Khanama. The bus driver's name is Shankar Dayama. A police investigation is underway.



The body was moved to the postmortem sense at Sola Civil.

He chanted "Hi Hi BRTS" for justice. The incident was reported to the police and B Division traffic police reached the spot. The police persuaded and the case was settled. Police have arrested the BRTS bus driver and registered a case against him.
